Fresh Green Bean Baby Soup (+8 Months)
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh green beans (thoroughly washed, trimmed, and chopped)
- 1 small carrot (chopped)
- 1 small potato (chopped)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (crushed)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups water
How to prepare?
Instructions
Wash and chop the green beans, carrot, potato, and onion.
Crush the garlic. Heat the olive oil in a pot. Add the chopped onion and crushed garlic, and sauté until they are soft.
Add the chopped green beans, carrot, and potato to the pot.
Sauté the vegetables for a few minutes while stirring. Pour in the water or vegetable broth.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the vegetables are very tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Depending on your baby’s age and eating habits, you can puree the soup.
Use a blender to achieve a smooth consistency.
